Monday blues are inevitable. I believe it applies to a lot of people too. For these people; like me, look forward to the weekends more than anything else, but only to find that the 2 days seem to be too short.
Suddenly, there seems like too many things that I want to do, like riding the Singapore Flyer at least once, taking photos, chill out at Esplanade Library reading 8Days magazines, stay at Esplanade rooftop garden till late, shopping, movies, napping, East Coast Park, Sentosa, cooking, etc etc.
Oh well.

Well it has been 1 week since I started working. Not bad, the people there are friendly. I'm still at the adjusting stage though; still not quite used to the work there, after all it only has been like... 6 days?
The bad thing is that the food at the food court really sucks. I totally had no appetite when I see the food there. I'd rather eat cup noodles everyday, seriously.
Well as for time with Dear, sadly, it reduces to only Tuesday and Thursday night; subjected to OT, and Saturday, and of course public holidays. I'm not embarrassed to say that I missed him all the time at work, and even at home during Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights.

I'll be working tomorrow as a Accounts Adminstrator, at a well-known Japanese MNC with a name which starts with a 'To' and ends with a 'ba'. Since I have totally no experience with part-time jobs, data entry and their accounting system, I will be serving a probationary period of x months or more at the company.
When did all this happened? Well, it happened last Wednesday. Boy, I was so nervous that I got there too early that Wednesday. First, the HR representative met me and went through my application form. Next, my would-be supervisior came and interviewed me. Then she left, and came back to say that the manager would be meeting me. After a few exchange of words with the manager, the interview ended.
They called me that very afternoon. Giddy with surprise, I agreed to take on the offer.
Hopefully I will happy there.

Thank you brother and Dear for the birthday presents! And thank those who remembered that it's my birthday today, all of which are my relatives.
Well, woke up feeling a bit sickly. But decided against seeing a doctor. Went out to Bugis quite early and walked around. Shared a plate of hokkien mee with Dear as I had not much appetite.
Walked to The Cathay and bought tickets to Meet the Spartans. It was a lame show, purely for laughs and entertainment. Went to Plaza Singapura and walked around. Really, there's nothing to do in Singapore!
Walked to The Central and ate dinner at Ma Maison. Great ambiance, pretty good food; except it's a bit too salty for my liking, limited menu. Walked around in Meidi-ya and went home shortly after.
Hope that I'll feel better tomorrow morning. I just ate some flu medicine.

Computer's fixed!
Rant: Day Two12 midnight and it sets off. Explored from Deck 7 to Deck 13. Well, almost all of the facilities closed early, such as the pool, activity room (GAH), etc. Only the Oasis was opened throughout the night (well, you all know what it is don't you). Dear was stopped by the security guard, TWICE, for looking underage, when we went in later in the 'morning'. =S
So went to the sauna / steam room, since it's opened till 1 am. Eh, I don't like steam room one bit, because I cannot breathe properly in there. 1 am sharp, the lights went off.
Was feeling really sleepy because there was nothing to do. Went to bed at around 3 to 4 am. It was quite weird because the ship's vibrating. But still, I managed to sleep.
Later, we went to Deck 13 to 7 again. Played at the arcade for a few mintues. Then at Dec 8, we found that the whole of The Gallery is covered with photos, keychains and magnets of ALL passengers with mascots. No wonder it's called The Gallery. These souvenirs do not come cheap; it ranges from SGD 9.90 to SGD 29 (if you want the photos in frame). So I took only this:
Those 2 are really pros! Their facial expressions were the same for almost all the photos. And we agreed that we could have gotten away with all the souvenirs without paying since none of the crew were acting as surveillance. What more, they cannot do anything else with those souvenirs that are not being bought except to throw them away.
Got off the ship to KL at around 2 pm. More photos with mascots. 1 hour ride to KL, 2 hours plus 'shopping' and another 1 hour plus back to port. Zzz. Witnessed a terrible accident of 2 trucks and 2 cars on the way back to port, thus the traffic jam and delays.
Back on board. We went to check out the photos taken earlier. True enough, they were up already. They are so FAST! Skipped dinner, but went for supper. There were also quite a number of people having their supper. People on board the cruise sure gets hungry easily...

Just came home from cruise; it's my first time going on board a cruise. Well, I cannot say that it is a very pleasant and relaxing trip. No pictures in this post, since my computer hasn't been fixed yet; so it's all words and paragraphs.
Rant: Day 1At 7 pm, we travelled to Harbourfront so that we can check in at 8 pm. There were already many people there. Quite surprised actually; I thought that there weren't going to be a lot of people, but obviously I'm wrong. There were quite a number of big groups of people, company outing, class outing, friends outing (There was a HUGE group of Indians [clarification needed]) or what not.
Things were beginning to get ugly as the time slowly approaches 8. First, it's that company outing group. Well from what I observed, it seems that 1 person from that company had been in line aka 'book' place. Then the whole lot of them came in, wanting to cut the queue. It's not 1 or 2 persons, but 10 over persons, maybe 20. Luckily a personnel came and shooed them to the back of the line.
Next, a very 'chio' auntie and her lover came out of nowhere and gek gek (fake fake)stood beside the young girl in front of me, RIGHT UNDER MY NOSE. Before she stood there, she said loudly to her lover: "Eh this line balcony class. Stand here ok liao." Well, I was getting a bit upset, since my illusion of having a jacuzzi pool or sauna room or steam room all to myself had already evaporated. So I said loudly, "Some people are just SOO buay zi dong." And I kept ranting and ranting. Then my mom told me to put my bag in front of me, since everyone from behind is like pushing and pushing. Good! I took my bag and PURPOSELY threw it infront of me, hitting that auntie's ankle. Well, I believed that my words and my actions stayed in her brain for the rest of the day, since I caught her starring at me during dinner buffet.
Then, the time to enter came. I was on the brink of saying **** and ####### when we started to enter. People suddenly came from the side of the queue! I presumed they waited there instead of waiting at the end of the line where they are suppose to be, looking for a chance to cut in. WTF! Why is this happening!
Travelled down the longggg hallway to the cruise, where mascots stood waiting. They pounced on us like meat and we were forced to take photos with them, twice! Nobody can escape their trap. Of course, this is for the souvenir which cost 10 bucks and above.
Well, that's it for Rant: Day 1. Rant: Day 2 will be posted up shortly.

Well, an entry just to sweep the ever-accumulating dust on the dashboard.
To tell the truth, I've been rotting away since the end of exams and I haven't found a job yet; and can't. I'll be going on a cruise in 3 days time, thus, resulting in a delay for searching for a job.
Time really is FLYING. I think I'd rambled on time in quite a couple of my posts already but DAMN! Exams, Chinese New Year, Valentine's, Singapore Airshow, SWOOSH just like that.
Ah right, Singapore Airshow. I think I'm 1 week late on this hah. We went to Singapore Airshow 2008 last week, JH and me, my brother and his GF. My brother had advised that we should take the shuttle bus as early as possible, to avoid the traffic and human jam. Up the bus, $5 gone. There was already a crowd when we arrive there. Took some photos or what not of the planes and army vehicles and freebies *cough*singaporeans*cough* and slack at the aircon tent thingy until 12 noon when the display starts.
It was SWELTERING HOT. There were tons of people armed with cameras which resembles a [what's that name!!!]. First part of the show, Black Knights display. People were still pretty enthusiastic, oohing and aahing. Then the finale, they formed a heart with their smoke thing. And suddenly, a guy in front of us kneeled down and proposed to his girlfriend.
After that were the solo displays. nothing much. Then the A380. Then final team display. We stood under the hot mid-noon sun for 1.5 hours.
Going home; CHAOS everywhere. People mountain people sea. Everyone had no idea where to queue up and which queue is to which bus. There were a lot of people grumbling and complaining and everyone wasn't in the best of mood (hot weather plays a part too).
Lucky us, found the shortest queue to Marina and poof, another $5 gone.
Ok end of stuff on Airshow.
I wonder if March is a rainy month. 三月里的小雨。
